Le continent africain apparaît comme un nouveau milieu d’innovation numérique. On note notamment un fort dynamisme dans l’innovation en Afrique de l’Est, plus particulièrement au Kenya, où de nombreuses initiatives naissent pour pallier les manques et/ou problèmes dans l'agriculture, la santé, l’économie, les services publics, les biens de première nécessité... Pour autant, ce potentiel d’innovation reste largement méconnu en Europe et en France.
Ces thématiques seront mises en parallèle à des initiatives luttant pour les objectifs de développement durable, émanant du terrain. L'objectif est de mettre en lumière des problèmes spécifiques, informer et acculturer, tout en offrant de la visibilité à des acteurs qui agissent pour leurs territoires.
